A hypothetical musician takes down an erroneously submitted demo while keeping the official single. Before reaching out, they compare the artwork, duration, and addresses of both recordings. The request clearly states which recording should disappear; the other is not included by assumption.
Check the result and announcements
After the distributor responds, open the exact address and check availability. Do not call a submitted request an already completed removal and do not promise a universal timeframe for all platforms. Save confirmation of the procedure in your working card.
Then check your own posts, pinned posts, and printed materials with the old link. If there is a new recording, explain the replacement to the reader; if there is not, remove the outdated promise to listen. Promotion should not lead to an object that has already been taken down.
