Delivery terms in a VK post: area, timeframe, and exceptions

In a delivery post for a VKontakte community, the client needs three answers: whether delivery is available to their address, how the cost is determined, and when the time slot is confirmed. A nice list of districts does not help if it is unclear from it whether the terms apply to a specific purchase.

Separate the permanent from the variable

First, gather the current information from the person who organizes delivery: territory, pickup methods, size restrictions, and the approval procedure. Do not promise a fixed timeframe if it is determined only after checking the address and product availability.

This is an editorial publication template, not an instruction for setting up logistics inside VK. For an ordinary informational post, there is no need to invent a separate button or integration.

Example structure

Start with the service area: “We deliver to the listed districts; we check other addresses separately.” Then explain what the amount depends on and where the person will see it before confirming the order. State which inputs are needed for the calculation: the locality and the nature of the purchase, without posting the full home address in the comments.

Cover the exceptions on a separate line: large items, carrying upstairs, or another special case, if it is actually provided for by your operations. Do not add a service that the team does not yet offer. End with a clear way to get individual confirmation of the terms.

Check before publishing

Take three hypothetical cases: an address inside the area, near the border, and outside it. For each, the editor should understand the next step without guessing. If the word “free” appears in the text, immediately check the current conditions of that claim and state them explicitly.

After changing the territory, update the related publications and employee responses. Compare not only the post's views but also the remaining questions about the area and the calculation. A large reach does not confirm that readers understood the cost or that delivery was agreed.
