A Telegram quote reply helps show which point of a long message you are responding to. Select a sufficient fragment and add a specific decision. A single "yes" under a message with three questions leaves the team guessing what exactly has been agreed.
Select a fragment without losing the meaning
Telegram allows you to quote part of the original message; tapping such a quote leads to the corresponding place. This differs from a block you type yourself with quote formatting: a similar appearance does not prove the origin of the text.
In a hypothetical order, a client asks about color, packaging, and timing. The manager selects the phrase about packaging and replies: "For two items we will prepare one box; individual covers remain." He discusses color and timing separately. This way it is clear which part of the sentence received an answer.
Do not cut off the condition
A bad fragment for a reply is just "delivery on Friday" if the original goes on to say "subject to confirmation by Wednesday." Keep the condition inside the quote or explicitly repeat it in the reply. Otherwise participants may agree on different promises while looking at the same conversation.
Before sending, reread the quote together with the reply as a separate message. It should be clear who does what and whether any clarification remains. For a complex decision after several replies, write a single summary so the client does not have to assemble it from scattered threads.
When moving the conversation
Telegram also describes a reply in another chat. Navigating to the original works only if you have access to the source chat. Do not use such a link as a way to grant access to a private group, and do not move client information into a general conversation without necessity.
A quote improves navigation but does not verify the truth of a promise. If the date has changed, reply with an explicit correction and clarify the current summary. An old "agreed" should not be silently used for a new scope of work.
Scheme: 1 — select the question together with the condition; 2 — give a specific answer; 3 — assemble the confirmed summary.
