Telegram's "Saved Messages" can be viewed by the chats from which messages were saved. This mode helps gather work materials by source when the general list of notes is already hard to browse. It does not turn saved messages into a shared team folder.
What exactly to save
You can forward an accessible message from the desired conversation to "Saved Messages." In the by-chat view mode, materials are grouped by source; Telegram also describes the saved messages section in the shared media of the original chat. Tags are an additional Premium feature — they are not required for the described procedure.
Imagine preparing for an interview: in one chat someone sent the subject's biography, in another — the venue's terms. Save the needed messages with their context, then add your own note about which task each material relates to. Don't reduce everything to files named "document": later, the source and purpose will matter more than the upload order.
Check before use
Open "Saved Messages," switch to the available by-chat view mode, and find the chosen source. Then check the file itself and the surrounding explanations in the original conversation, if it is available. Find out whether the author sent a new version after you saved it.
Do not claim that the copy automatically tracks all subsequent changes to the original. For important material, record the date of the check and separately save the agreed version in a work storage with the necessary access rights.
How to pass it on to the team
When sending material to a colleague, check the permission to forward and the availability of the source. Personal "Saved Messages" is not a shared catalog. If colleagues need a permanent set of documents, determine in advance a place where all authorized participants can get the current version.
Do not bypass forwarding restrictions and do not publish private conversations for convenience. The purpose of this procedure is to find legally accessible materials faster and understand their origin. This is not recovery of deleted messages and not a promise of indefinite availability of any attachment.
