Business hours and address on Telegram Business help a person decide when and where to come. The profile should describe a real service location: the time you are present in chat and the workshop's opening hours may differ.
First determine what is open
Telegram lets you display a business's schedule and location. Before filling it in, check whether the feature is available in your account. For a remote team, do not enter a random address just to have a filled-out profile. If clients are only received by appointment, this condition should be clear before the trip.
Put together a short source card: address, entrance landmark, working days and hours, whether an appointment is required, a contact for clarification. Separately write down when you answer messages. For example, the workshop is open until evening, but picking up a large order requires agreeing on a time — a general "open" status does not explain this.
Checking through a visitor's eyes
Save the data and open the profile from another authorized account. Check the point on the map: a street with the same name in a neighboring city or the main entrance of a large building can send a person to the wrong place. Compare the displayed schedule with the actual local time and the data on the website.
Ask a colleague to answer three questions using the profile: where to go, when you can come, and whether you need to arrange things in advance. If answering requires guessing, clarify the description or provide separate route instructions. Do not try to replace a full route with a single point on the map.
Updates and exceptions
Holidays, repairs, and relocation are checked separately. Changed hours need to be coordinated across all points of contact you use, including the pinned post and the website. Do not assume that changing the profile automatically fixed old listings.
Setting up a schedule does not create a service appointment and does not guarantee an immediate response. The result of this work is agreed-upon visit information. Growth in inquiries can only be assessed from your own observations after the change, not from the mere fact of a filled-out profile.
