Concert did not appear on Spotify: partner, event data, and verification

If a concert did not appear on Spotify, first check the original page at the ticketing partner and whether it matches the artist. Events come from supported partners; posting an announcement on social media by itself does not create a concert on Spotify.

Check the event source

Open the current list of partners in the Spotify help center. As of the verification date, the service explicitly states that Songkick events and virtual events are not displayed. Do not use the old instruction with the generic advice to add a concert to Songkick.

On the page of a current partner, verify the artist, date, time, and venue. When names match, a linking error may not be noticeable from the headline alone. Save the link to the correct event and compare it with what the listener sees.

Allow for data refresh

Spotify describes updates as normally taking about a day, but notes that delays of several days are possible. This is guidance from its help documentation, not a promise that the event will appear at a specific minute. Do not create a duplicate event just because the first one has not appeared yet.

If the source data is incorrect, correct it at the ticketing partner. After that, check the result later. Editing the text of a Spotify bio does not fix the date or venue of the concert in the partner database.

What to gather for a request

If the source is supported, the data is correct, and the event is still missing after the expected refresh, prepare a link to the artist, the concert page, and a brief description of the discrepancy. State when the data was corrected, if that happened. Do not hand over access to the organizer's account just for a simple check of a public page.

Until the event appears, use a verified direct ticket link in suitable channels of your own. Do not tell the audience that the concert is already available on Spotify until this is confirmed by viewing it. The presence of a card also does not mean tickets sold or a full venue.
