A scheduled SoundCloud publication sets the moment when a private track becomes public. According to the help center, the feature applies to Artist Pro and individual tracks; a schedule for an album or playlist cannot be set this way.
Prepare a private track
Upload the final recording with private visibility and check the sound, artwork, title, and description. Do not use a public track as a scheduling draft: the described feature is intended for private material. Confirm access to Artist Pro in your account.
In the track's main settings, select scheduling and save the date. Distinguish this moment from the release date in the metadata: a filled-in date field does not equal a scheduled first public publication.
Verify the time
In the help section on upload issues, SoundCloud specifies GMT for the time on the platform. Therefore, do not transfer the time from a Moscow plan without checking the interface's time zone and the saved value. Record the same moment for the team in understandable time zones.
A hypothetical example: a manager prepares an announcement for a specific evening hour for listeners. Before sending the announcement, a second team member checks the scheduled moment in the track settings. If the interface shows a different zone, first bring the time to a common form rather than moving the date at random.
After saving
Return to the settings and make sure the schedule was saved for the correct recording. Separately check who has access to the private link before the release: its availability does not mean the public release has already taken place.
At the scheduled time, open the regular public page and check playback. Announce the available result after this check. The scheduler does not fix mastering errors, does not submit music to a distributor, and does not guarantee recommendations. If the material's readiness is in doubt, first complete its review, then agree on a new time.
