How to use

  1. Choose chapters or subtitles and paste the text or upload a file.
  2. For chapters, add the video duration; for subtitles, specify the offset in seconds.
  3. Fix the text, export the result, and check it in the player.

How it works

The chapter list starts with 00:00, contains at least three marks in ascending order, and chapters at least 10 seconds long. This tool processes up to 200 marks. Without the video duration, the last chapter is not fully checked. Subtitles are supported as plain text without tags or internal timestamps; WebVTT styles and regions are not exported.

Example

Marks 00:00 Start, 00:30 Example, 02:10 Conclusions pass validation for the video 03:00. At a length of 02:15, the last chapter lasts only 5 seconds and needs fixing. A subtitle shift of +1,5 moves each boundary one and a half seconds later.

Questions about the tool

Why didn't the correct chapters appear?

The text check does not include the availability of the feature on the channel or the restrictions of a specific video. After saving the description, check the result in YouTube.

Can subtitles be extracted from audio?

The tool works with a ready-made file. It does not recognize speech or download the text of someone else's video. Proofread names, numbers, and negations before uploading to Studio.
