When approving a layout in a VK conversation, link each edit to a specific file version. A "like" message under an old image does not confirm a new revision. Before starting work, get a clear response on the final version and save it together with the version.
Give files distinguishable names
Use the product name, version number, and date. Instead of three identical "layout.png" files, send, for example, "cover-version-03". In the message, briefly list the differences: the background color was changed, the caption line was refined, the size remained the same.
This is your own way of organizing the conversation, not a claim about a special VK version control feature. Do not treat the file name as technical protection against errors: the recipient may open a previously saved copy, so the image and the explanation must match.
Collect the edits in a single list
A hypothetical client asks to change the font and remove one element. The manager first repeats both points and clarifies the unclear word "bigger": which element should become bigger and within what constraint. Then they send the next version with the changes marked.
Do not merge contradictory wishes from different people by guessing. If two people are approving, find out in advance who gives the final response. A short list of unresolved questions is more useful than repeatedly forwarding the image without context.
Record the final version
Before handing off to the contractor, name the final version, its purpose, and the parameters the client actually approved. If the response concerns only the color, clarify the rest separately. Silence or a reaction to a message should not be arbitrarily turned into full approval of the layout.
Save the exact file and the confirmed final result in the work card. If there is a new edit after approval, repeat the check of the affected parameters. Do not promise that a preview on a phone guarantees print color or the physical size of the product: such tasks require the designated production control.
