A channel needs stories, but the cart ended up with subscribers. Or the author wants to understand whether people read their materials, but only looks at the total number of people in the channel. In both cases, the mistake starts with choosing the metric. Before ordering, it helps to finish the sentence: "After it's done, I want to check this."
A short comparison before choosing
A boost relates to the channel's level and available features, a subscription relates to an account joining, and a view relates to the counter of a specific post. Verified on 24 September 2026. None of these metrics replaces confirmed interest or payment.
If you need to check the remaining amount up to the specified Telegram threshold, open the boost calculator and link generator. To compare your series of posts by known counters, use the CSV report. To prepare an explanation for subscribers, there's the post editor. Each tool solves a separate preparatory task; the change in the counter is verified on the platform itself.

Boost: check the level and the available feature
Boosts are tied to the channel's level and additional capabilities, including publishing stories. The specific requirements should be checked in your channel's settings: they depend on the feature itself and the current state. Telegram's documentation on boosts.
That's why the task "I want to unlock the needed publishing capability" starts with a screenshot of the boosts section. Write down the current level, the missing amount, and the name of the feature. The number of participants alone won't replace this check.
Suppose the owner of a workshop is planning to show the stages of a repair in stories. They should first check access to stories and prepare the material. Buying a quantity "with a margin," without understanding the threshold and the conditions for retaining boosts, makes it harder to evaluate the result. Unlocking the feature itself also doesn't guarantee that the story will be viewed or that someone will contact the workshop afterward.
Subscriber: joining a channel doesn't yet mean interest
A subscriber joins the channel. But from the fact of subscribing, you can't deduce how many posts they will read, whether they will write to the author, or whether they will become a customer. The question "how many subscribers are needed for sales" therefore has no universal numeric answer.
If the task is to attract customers, describe the person you need separately. For a local workshop, this could be a resident of the district with a specific problem. For a channel about music recording, it could be a beginner musician who suits the format of the materials. Then choose an acquisition method that allows you to verify this interest: a topical placement, a partner's recommendation, your own mailing with the recipients' consent.
Ordered activity is not equal to an organic audience. When comparing results, keep such orders on a separate line so that you don't accidentally mistake a change in the counter for the success of an advertising placement.
View: look at a specific post
Each channel message has its own counter. Telegram also counts views of forwarded copies in it; the values are approximate. Therefore, the number under a post cannot be considered the exact number of unique interested people. Telegram's explanation.
For the task "this post should lead to a booking," you need one more measurable step: a click to the form, a started conversation, or a confirmed request. For the task "which rubric to continue," comparable posts of the same age are useful. A post from a week ago cannot be compared against a post published half an hour ago.
How to choose without an unnecessary purchase
Take one sheet of paper and write down three lines:
- Object: the entire channel or an individual message.
- Result: an available feature, joining the channel, or a change in the post counter.
- Check: where and when to record the state before and after.
If the result line says "more customers," reread the plan: the listed services by themselves do not confirm customer interest. A separate path from content to an inquiry and tracking of actual payments will be needed.
In the Telegram catalog the services are divided by these objects. For a post there are views, for a channel there are separate settings. Before ordering, compare the link type, the full volume, the timeframes, and the terms of the selected card. A tariff name without these details doesn't help much.
The form below opens the boost parameters. Use it if the task is genuinely related to the channel's level. If you're unsure whether the service matches your case, send Boosted the link and briefly describe the result you need — before choosing a quantity.
