The call to action in Reels should continue the video's task. If the video helps choose a size, the next step will be a size chart; if it shows a breakdown of a mistake — a detailed guide. Simultaneous requests to like, save, write, and buy make it hard to understand what matters most.
Choose an action based on the viewer's readiness
A sample video shows two ways to fold a bag. For someone not yet familiar with the product, it is useful to see the dimensions and material. Asking to pay right away without this information skips over the decision. For a video about reordering a product the person already knows, the path may be shorter, but the terms should still be available.
Write down one sentence: "After this video, the person will be able to…". Then choose the action that helps complete it. If the sentence contains two independent goals, split the video or leave one main one.
Connect the words to a real path
Do not say "tap here" if there is no available link in the place shown. Before publishing, go through the path from a regular account on a phone and make sure the needed page can be found without guessing. The availability of elements depends on the account and the interface; this guide does not promise a universal clickable link in any part of Reels.
Choose one of three complete phrasings based on the nature of the next step. For a general question without personal data: "Which of the two folding methods is more convenient for you? Write in the comments." For an independent choice by parameters: "Open the model page via the link in the profile and compare the sizes" — only if such a path actually works. For individual compatibility: "Message us the device model to clarify the size." Do not ask for a delivery address or order number in the comments. These three phrases are alternatives for different tasks, not a list of calls to action in one video.
Testing one change
Save the version of the video and the call to action. Note questions about where to go next separately from reach. If you change the CTA, do not attribute all subsequent growth or decline to that phrase: the audience and impression distribution may differ.
