How to compare two promotion offers when they have different packages

Unit, scope, term, limitations, and full cost: what to bring to a common form before comparing prices.

One offer says “a thousand views,” another says “a package for a month.” Two prices sit side by side, and the first seems lower. But until it is clear what exactly is included in each option, comparison is meaningless. First, translate both offers into one understandable language.

Two options on a balance
Four fields for comparing promotion: unit, scope, term, and result verification

Name the unit without ambiguity

Ask what counts as one unit: a view, a unique person, a subscription, a publication, or a period of presence. Then clarify the object. A thousand views of one post and a thousand for each of ten posts are different volumes.

A hypothetical example: option A offers 500 actions for one publication, option B offers 1 000 actions for the entire set of four publications. In the second case, you cannot automatically expect a thousand for each. You need distribution rules and the final quantity.

Also distinguish between an order and a business result. A view is not equal to a lead, a subscriber is not equal to a buyer, and a song play is not equal to a new fan. If the contractor promises the latter result, ask them to describe separately how it will be confirmed.

Break the package down into specific actions

Write out everything included: creating materials, placement, setup, management, reporting. Next to it, note what you provide yourself. If one option includes editing, while in the second the video must be brought ready-made, the same price will mean different work.

Clarify additional payments before launch: for a different format, an edit, an extension, additional publications. Do not assume that the familiar name “full package” includes everything necessary. Separately ask which operations require new approval.

Assign one person who confirms order changes. Then a request from a team member will not become an unexpected increase in the agreed amount.

Ask them to explain the audience acquisition method in simple actions. A “secret technology” does not allow you to evaluate the service. For Spotify, the platform rules are especially important: paid guarantees of streams and playlist placements contradict them. Official Spotify help.

Check the time and the object’s terms

A term has at least two meanings: when the work begins and how long it lasts. For one-time activity, post support, and a live stream, these are different parameters. Do not substitute the start term for the completion term.

Check the requirements for the link, page availability, and changes during execution. Find out what will happen if a publication is deleted or the channel changes its address. If stopping is possible, clarify its terms in writing. Do not assume that the remainder will automatically be returned.

The words “guarantee” and “refill” require clarification: which case is considered, in which period, based on what data, and what action the service performs. Without these details, the word next to the price explains almost nothing.

Compare the full expense for your task

After clarifications, assemble the same desired volume and the same period. Include mandatory additions. Only now look at the total. If the offers cannot be brought to a common form, write that down: these are different services, and the choice depends on the result you need.

In Telegram views you can set your own quantity and view the calculation. The selected parameters relate to the activity order; they do not confirm sales or organic reach. Before continuing, check the checkout mode: the demo form does not launch the service.

Save the selected offer and support replies before starting. Then you will be able to accept the work according to the agreements, rather than from memory of what seemed to be included in a nice package name.
